Clare’s lifeguards are back on the beaches this weekend.
From today until the end of June all the main coastal spots around the county will be manned at the weekends only with cover increasing for July and August.
People are reminded to only swim at beaches where a life guard is on patrol, to use a life jacket and to supervise children at all times.
