Aer Lingus Cabin Crew Back Industrial Action

Aer Lingus and IMPACT both say they are available for further discussions, after cabin crew at the airline announced industrial action last evening

Staff at Shannon, Cork and Dublin airports will not be striking, but will be ‘working to rule’ under the terms of contracts which existed up to June of this year.

Aer Lingus is bringing in different working arrangements for the cabin crew, as part of a 97 million euro restructuring programme.

IMPACT says the aim is to protect cabin crew, not disrupt passengers.
