The new Clare County Development Plan has been formally adopted.

The strategy for 2011 to 2017 sets out a vision for the future growth of County Clare and according to the County Manager – facilitates and encourages economic development and social inclusion.
Members of Clare County Council backed the new plan following much debate about Wind Energy strategies and rural housing policies among other issues at last evenings meeting at Aras chonate an Chlair.
