An investigation’s underway after a man was found with serious stab wounds in Limerick City.

Gardaí were called to a fire on Mary Street at around half past one this morning.
On their arrival at the house officers found the man in his late 20’s with multiple stab wounds.
He was rushed to Limerick Regional Hospital, where his condition is being described as serious.
