The Education Minister has been accused of having an anti-rural bias towards farming families in Clare.
Rurai Quinn is being criticised for comments made in elation to farming families and the self employed, which he accused of manipulating the tax laws in order to ensure third level grant allocation.

It comes Minister Quinn revealed government proposals to amalgamate rural school with low pupil numbers in a bid to save money – as recommended in the Bord Snip Nua Report
Clare Fianna Fail Deputy Timmy Dooley feels the move is anti-rural and says Minister Quinn’s comments in relation to third level grants is demonising a sector of society.
