Up to 24 cases are being considered as part of an review into women who may have been incorrectly told they’d suffered a miscarriage.

The inquiry was instigated last year after one woman from north Dublin went public with her story of how she gave birth to a healthy baby boy after being told she had a miscarriage at 8 weeks.
Professor William Ledger of the Royal College of Obstetrics in the UK is chairing the review, and its report is expected to be published in the coming weeks.
