An Ennis Pensioner is recovering after being tied up during a break in at his home this week ..

The incident happened at around 10 o’clock on Monday night on the Clare Road.
The elderly man was restrained with plastic cable ties while his house was ransacked but the raider reportedly made off with just around 100 euro.
The pensioner was unharmed but shaken by the incident.
A short time later a man in his late thirties was arrested by gardaí in connection with the aggravated burglary.
He’s since been released without charge but a file’s being prepared for the DPP
