Sporting bodies in East Clare are set for a boost as funding is made available for new facilities.
It comes as central government allocate 150 thousand euro to Tulla Community Council for the construction of an astro turf pitch in the town.
It’s hoped the all weather facility will constructed and ready to use by Mid July of this year, when the pitch will be at the disposal of all sporting groups in the area.

Clarecastle TD Joe Carey says the new amenity will become an important part of the community.
