The first state visit by a reigning British Monarch to the Republic of Ireland begins later.
Queen Elizabeth will visit her for a total of four days – taking in ground breaking and symbolic places like the Garden of Remembrance and Croke Park.

She’ll be the first British monarch to set foot in Ireland for 100 years – and the first to do so since Ireland gained independence from Britain.
