A broad welcome has been given to the re-iteration of the importance of Shannon Airport for US Troops.
Troop Traffic at Shannon was among the topics discussed by President Obama and Taoiseach Enda Kenny during a meeting between them at Farmleigh yesterday.

After the talks, Enda Kenny said, among other matters, they re-iterated the ‘importance.. of the use of Shannon" by the American military.
