Clare residents are being urged to continue to recycle their electrical goods.
The European Recycling Platform collected over 30 tonnes of waste electrical and electronic equipment from clare householders at free recycling events in Ennis and Kilrush at the weekend.
Homeowners recycled washing machines and televisions as well as smaller electrical equipment like kettles, hairdryers, toasters and computers.

Those who were unable to attend Saturday’s event can recycle their household electrical waste and batteries – free of charge – at the Central Waste Management Recycling Facility at Ballyduff Beg in Inagh or at the local amenity sites in Shannon, Scarrif, Ennis and Kilkee.
