Ennis could soon be put up for ‘rent’
Ennis Town Council is to explore the possibility of allowing people lease the town’s public amenities, in a novel way of generating income.
Based on a scheme which is in operation in six sites across Europe, Councillors heard that tenants could ‘graze cattle on the post office field’ or be given full use of the town’s sports facilities.
