Anti-war protestors are highlighting their continued opposition to the passage of US troops through Shannon Airport today.
Members of the Shannon Watch group and the Peace and Neutrality Alliance are gathering outside the entrance to the airport to renew their demands on political leaders in Ireland to bring an end to U.S. military use of Shannon.
Their protest follows recent wikileaks revelations which suggested the Irish Government turned a blind eye to the possible transit of CIA rendition flights through County Clare, by not searching American planes at Shannon.
