It’s claimed the car parking situation in and around Ennis is improving, despite the ongoing concerns of local businesses.
Ennis Town Council has insisted there is sufficient parking in the town – particularly in the Multi-Story, Market Street Car Park and at Dunnes stores.

But the Council admits the type of parking on offer has caused some difficulties for town centre parking, prompting it’s recent re-designation of spaces on a short term payment basis.
The changes have prompted some motorists to abandon car parks like the Friars Walk area close to St Francis Credit Union, but Town Manager Ger Dollard says pricing changes were made for good reason
