Children’s Minister Frances Fitzgerald is in Clare today where, among other things, she will open a new youth cafe in Ennis.
A lease for the new community and resource building, based at Cloughleigh, has been signed with Clare Youth Service for a nominal fee
However, the facility has prompted concern among local residents, in part because of it’s proximity to the homes of some elderly residents, though strict opening times have been placed open the cafe.

The building will be known as ‘The Junction’, and Mayor of Ennis Tommy Brennan is confident it will find favour with the youth of Ennis
