There’s further promotion for Clare’s Government Representativs – this time in the Seanad.
Senator Martin Conway has been appointed by the Taoiseach as government spokesperson on Equality, Disability and Mental Health, while Senator Tony Mulcahy takes up the role in Communications Energy and Natural Resources.
It comes just a week after the County Fine Gael TD’s also gained extra responsibilities through various Dail committees while Deputy Joe Carey was also appointed as Assistant Government Chief Whip
