Two clare primary schools have been given positive reviews from the Department of Education
Whole school evaluations were carried out in Quin and Scariff last year by a department inspector.
Scoil na Mainistreach Quin – a 9 teacher school with 159 pupils – was found to have a very good standard of teaching in all subjects inspected.

The Department also commented on the commitment of the school staff.
While in Scariff Central National School – where enrollment has increased 70% to 253 pupils in the last 5 years, was praised for their extra curricular programme and their use of information technology.
