The President of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions is expected to criticise plans to reform JLC’s at the organisation’s conference in Killarney this morning.
The topic is expected to be debated at cabinet level this week.

Meanwhile delegates were told last night by the Taoiseach that wage restraint is still a central part of the government’s economic recover plan.
Enda Kenny said that high earners will be made to pay their share in the recovery.
But, Mr Kenny says in order to ensure job creation, wage levels will have to be adjusted across the board.
