It’s hoped completion of an unfinished housing development in Shannon will bring an end to the eye sore endured by many neighbouring residents.
Clare County Council has entered a new agreement with Atlantic Developments Limited to finish the 28 unit Glaisse na Rinne affordable housing scheme in Shannon – after the previous contract with Paddy Burke Builders Limited was terminated last year.

The new contractors will take possession of the site this Friday and hope to complete the project in four months.
Shannon Councillor Sean McLaughlin hopes there’ll be interest in the affordable homes, but says this news will be welcomed most by residents of the nearby Cluain Airne estate who’ve been inconvenienced for too long.
