Motorists have been given somewhat of a reprieve again this weekend, as the N68 Ennis-Kilrush Road has re-opened as of last evening.
A section of the road between West Clare and Ennis had been closed for re-surfacing works for the past forthnight but commuters will be able to travel on it this weekend after it was re-oened by Clare County Council.
However road users are being urged to proceed with caution through the roadworks and the closure will again be enforced again from 7.30 am next Monday
