An Ennis school has been granted funding for upgrade works by the Department of Education at the second time of asking.
Minister Ruairi Quinn has announced that he has allocated the funds to Scoil Iosef Naofa, in Clare’s County Town.
The primary school’s initial application for funds to upgrade it’s roof had been turned down, but works have been given the go-ahead following an appeal.

In total, over 45 million euro will be spent on projects at 878 schools across the country this summer.
