It appears that Clare may be missing out on the early stages of a recovery in Ireland’s property market.

Across the country, a 10% decrease was recorded in the number of new buildings in the first half of the year – 11 counties, including Limerick actually saw modest annual increases.
However, here in Clare, a 55% annual decrease in the number of new buildings was recorded in the same timeframe.
GeoDirectory, which records all buildings nationwide, identified 109 new buildings in the County from January until June.
98 were residential buildings, 8 were commercial and 3 were-dual purpose.
