Small businesses in Clare are making a fresh bid to work their way out of the recession today with an Open Fair in Ennis.
The initiative, pioneered by the West Clare based Rural resettlement Ireland, aims to showcase one person enterprises operating throughout the county, bringing them together to form networks and meet new customers or potential clients.
The Open Fair is free to the public and running from 11 to 6 at the West County Hotel and further events are expected in future along with the nationwide roll-out of the idea for small businesses across the country.
