The Health Service Executive has launched an investigation into allegations of abuse of children who attended a boarding school in County Cork.
The HSE initiated this inquiry into the boarding school – which was operated under the aegis of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart – following what it describes as "recent concerns" over the protection of children who had attended the school.
