Consumers on the Whitegate Public Water Supply are being urged to continue boiling their tap water following the discovery of cryptosporidium.
The households and businesses affected are on the Whitegate Public Water Supply and also include Group Water Schemes in Drumaan East, Williamstown and The Mill.
Clare County Council says consumers in these areas such boil all water intended for consumption or food preparation until further notice.
