Enda Kenny’s call to encourage the public to get their votes in for the Cliffs is the latest in a long line of high profile support and follows the backing offered by Giovanni Trapattoni,  President-elect, Michael D Higgins, Lord of the Dance Michael Flatley, singer Maura O’Connell and many others.

The iconic County Clare landmark is facing tough competition from other global attractions like the Amazon Rainforest, The Great Barrier Reef  and The Grand Canyon  –
