Clare’s four family resources centres have been praised for giving families a lifeline during the recession
The recent Family Resource Centre National Forum heard that after-school clubs, arts programmes, and parent and toddler groups are proving to be critical initiatives in helping to ease pressure on Clare families as the recession deepens.
These are just some of the services provided by local family resopurce centres based in Ennistymon, Killaloe/Ballina, Kilrush and Shannon along with counselling, advice on unemployment issues and other family supports.
