Clare County Council says it has put measures in place to tackle another potential bout of severe weather this winter.
Following a review of it’s handling of last winter’s freezing conditions, the Council has put in place criteria which it’s felt will identify when extra staff are required to man it’s emergency telephone line.
However, the public have been warned that the council can only do so much, and have been advised to be prepared for any bad weather.
