Legal proceedings in South East Clare will be "called to the bar" from the new year, as Killaloe District court finds a new home.
As and from January 3rd sittings of Killaloe District court will be held at O’Donovan’s Bar and Restaurant, Derg Court, Ballina for a trial period of 3 months.
Killaloe District Court has recently sat in Ennis, after its previous home – The Kincora Hall hotel went into receivership.

The court also sat at the Lakeside Hotel in Ballina and the court service has ruled out renovating the old courthouse in Killaloe which hasn’t been used since the mid 1990’s.
