7 weeks of fund-raising for four local charities comes to an end today with Clare FM’s 50 cent appeal set to donate thousands of euro to good causes this Christmas.
Since October, Clare FM listeners, community groups and businesses have been donating money towards the work of the Clare branch of St. Vincent de Paul, Clare Haven Services, Clarecare and the Clare Hospice at Cahercalla, in an overwhelming response to the Clare FM appeal.
The last big 50 cent event takes place today with lots of great items going under the hammer as part of the fun and festivities on Clare FM programmes throughout the day.
