Gardaí are investigating after another US military aircraft was damaged at Shannon Airport.
Its understood the security breach happened on Monday night when hydraulic pipes on the plane were severed while the side of the airliner was spray painted.
However its reported that the plane which was on a disused runway was there as a replacement plane and did not require protection from gardaí or US Troops

The attack comes eight years after a US Navy cargo jet was targeted twice by anti-war campaigners in a matter of days which forced the government to increase security at the Mid West Airport
