The voting process for the US presidential election gets underway today – with the Iowa caucus.
That’s despite the fact that the main event won’t happen for another eleven months.
Republican voters in Iowa will today name the person they want to nominate to face Barack Obama in November’s election, with Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney expected to get the nod.
