Local representatives say they’re disappointed that Aer Lingus again won’t offer a service between the US and Shannon this St. Patrick’s Day.
The former flag carrier is suspending it’s transatlantic operations from Shannon this week, and services will not resume until March 25th, after the national holiday.

Continental will continue to operate it’s flights from Shannon to Newark, but Shannon Councillor Patricia McCarthy feels the calls and hopes of locals here in Clare have been ignored by Aer Lingus
