Ennis has missed out on hosting next year’s fleadh,after Derry was announced as the host for the 2013 event..
The traditional music festival normally attracts three hundred thousand visitors and is worth 40 million euros in revenue to the hosts.
It’ll be the first time in 60 years that the Fleadh will go north of the border.
