It’s claimed many of the speed limits in operation on County Clare’s Roads are inaccurate and make no sense.
The Transport Minister has announced a review of speed limits across the country in response to the concerns of motorists across the country and Clare Senator Martin Conway says it’s long overdue.
A former Councillor in the Ennistymon electoral area, Senator Conway says he knows of many speed limits that are too high or too low and was frustrated in his past attempts to have them changed.

He’s urging Clare County Council to work with the NRA now to address this.
