The government will today reveal how many more State-owned companies it plans to sell off.
As well as a minority stake in the ESB – which has already been signalled – parts of Bord Gáis are also expected to be primed for sale.
The full list – and the amount of money the coalition expects to raise – will be outlined by the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform Brendan Howlin this morning.

The Government has promised there won’t be a fire-sale and for the first time last week the updated Troika Memorandum of Understanding outlined that some of the proceeds could be used for job creation.
