Clare Gardai are being praised following a major drugs bust in the county.
400 thousand euro worth of Cannabis Resin and Herb were discovered by officers from Ennis when they stopped and searched a car on the M 18 at Ballymaconna, Barefield yesterday evening.
A 31 year old man with an address in the North was arrested at the scene and can be detained for 7 days under Drug Trafficking Legislation.

The seizure was the result of a garda operation targetting the sale and supply of drugs in the West and comes just days after another haul of cannabis was recovered by gardai in Mountshannon.
