Barefield residents have expressed relief after The High Court granted an injunction against members an illegal encampment of traveller families on land close to the the Ennis By-pass.
Six families, including 10 children who are part of the wider O’Donoghue family had been living on the side of the road on the outskirts of Ennis for over 7 months.
Clare County Council said the encampment seriously impacted on the community and has now secured a High Court injunction against the traveller families who moved on from the area earlier this week.
