A Government minister says a second bailout for Ireland is a possibility, but they’ll work to minimise the chances of it happening.
It comes on the back of a poll which shows that although more voters are in favour of ratifying the EU Fiscal treaty than rejecting, 39 per cent of people still haven’t made up their minds.
In the event of Ireland needing a second rescue package after the current one ends in two years time, we would need to have ratified the treaty.
