The Tanaiste is set to row in over the controversy surrounding a elderly couple evicted from their home in Dublin.
Brendan and Asta Kelly spent the night in a tent outside their gated property in Kiliney last night after being forceably removed by balliffs on foot of an eviction notice for non payment of their mortage.
They had a mortgage of 2 million euro with Irish Nationwide, and were served with a repossession order nearly 2 years ago- they now plan to stay camped outside until they can return to the house.

The couple’s home is in the constituency of the Tánaiste and speaking in the Dail Eamon Gilmore says his office will make contact with the Kellys
