The Government has describing the creation of 500 new jobs at Apple as a significant vote of confidence in the country.
The American company already employs around three-thousand people in Cork and the new positions will be rolled out over the next 18 months.

The Taoiseach has welcomed the boost as he announced the coalition had met 96 per cent of targets set out in the action plan for jobs in the first quarter of the programme.
Enda Kenny says it shows great confidence in Ireland from around the world.
