Aer Lingus has been accused of treating its Shannon Airport passengers as ‘second class citizens’ compared to their Dublin counterparts.
Clare Councillors have been reacting to an incident last month in which a flight from the Mid West to Boston was cancelled – with the former national carrier citing technical reasons.

It then emerged that the plane was sent to Dublin Airport -as a replacement aircraft for another flight -also to the US
Shannon Councillor Sean McLoughlin says this incident is not one of a kind ,and feels the practice cannot be allowed to continue
