A naval dive unit is set to join the effort to find a missing fisherman off the Galway coast.
The alarm was raised last night after the 43 year old failed to return from lobster pot fishing and emergency services resumed the operation at first light this morning.

Search crews have already recovered his currach near the Aran Islands
The Shannon-based Coastguard helicopter, the Aran islands lifeboat and Costelloe Bay coastguard unit have all been involved in the search operation.
