A former Junior Minister is still being questioned by the Garda fraud squad this evening.
Ned O’Keeffe was arrested as his Cork home this morning – and brought to Cobh for questioning.

The former Fianna Fail TD for Cork East is being questioned about mobile phone invoices, under section 26 of the Criminal Justice Act.
It’s understood the arrest was made on foot of a formal complaint made by a Sunday newspaper.
