The President will make his first official visit to the United States this week.
Michael D. Higgins will attend various events in New York and Boston from today right through to Saturday.

The Newmarket on Fergus man will be accompanied by his wife Sabina and, in Boston, by the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Jimmy Deenihan.
