A Life Saving May-Day Appeal is being issued by the RNLI branches in Ennis and Kilrush today, as local rescue volunteers raise funds for new life-jackets.
The Clare LifeBoat crews are joining forces in a public appeal to fund the purchase of brand new life jackets for members in every station which will cost 400 euro each.
