Clare’s Fianna Fail Deputy says the party is now firmly focussed on the forthcoming EU Fiscal Treaty Referendum, following on from Eamon O’Cuiv’s decision not to quit as a member.
The party’s only backbench TD has promised not to utter another word on the fiscal treaty, after receiving a letter from the party whip, requesting that he refrain from taking part in media interviews on the fiscal treaty.

Deputy O’Cuiv still insists he believes with his "heart and mind" that passing the referendum would be a mistake.
However, the party’s Clare TD Timmy Dooley says the issue is now firmly in the past.
