Shannon Development says it welcomes the announcement of the Governments decision to separate Shannon Airport from the Dublin Airport Authority and to bring it together with the regional promotion agency

Enterprise Minister Richard Bruton confirmed today that there will be implications for Shannon Development’s as its long-standing economic development operations, are now transferred to other agencies
In a brief statement meanwhile, the Dublin Airport Authority says it will ‘work actively with the steering group that has been announced today so that the Government’s decision in relation to the separation of Shannon can be implemented.’
