The Tánaiste is dismissing claims that trolleys are being hidden in some hospitals so that patients are not being counted on them.
Fianna Fáil’s Billy Kelleher has raised it in the Dáil after the claim was made at a nurses conference.

Members of the INMO claim that people on hospital trolleys are being moved to areas where they are not counted so as to manipulate the figures to comply with Government pressure to reduce them.
But Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore says he can’t see how it would happen and added that figures on trolleys are falling due to the aid of the Special Delivery Unit.
