Gardai in Kilrush are investigating the death of a man in his 70’s on a farm in Cree yesterday
The man and his son were working on the farm at Clonina when its believed a cow attacked one of the men at approximatly 11am on Saturday morning

The man was rushed to hospital but later died from his injuries while his son,who is believed to be in his 30’s was also treated for leg injuries.
A post mortem is due to be carried out tomorrow and the HSA has been informed with a formal investigation set to be launched in the coming days.
